  1. 'Is that divisible by seven?' For real before she even said that I automatically checked if it was divisible by three because that's the number I have an obsession with.

  2. i love this because it's actually accurate about what ocd is like, it's not just like "omg seeing a tile in the wrong place of a floor makes me uncomfortable!!!!" and it brushes on parts of ocd a lot of people don't know about. I for one only knew the stereotype of wanting things clean/orderly when i was younger so i never knew i had a lot of symptoms.

  3. WHY did you have to wear a top with horizontal stripes on it that just about match the line frequency? It hurts me to watch the moire but i can't look away. Help.

  4. This is amazing! I have OCD, although mine manifests more in mental compulsions than physical ones. I love that this is both funny and so accurate to so many people who have OCD. Love your songs Rachel!

  5. At the end when they hurry out of the street and she's like "Don't step on the cracks! Don't step on the cracks!" priceless

  6. When the compulsions displayed in this video are incompatible with your compulsions, so it makes you uncomfortable. (You have to slide to both sides, otherwise it will be uneven!)

  7. when i was a kid i had this kind of thoughts… and now i don't . I had no idea it was something serious, i thought everyone had the same thoughts

  8. i have ocd and it's a living hell, honestly, but this video is actually really accurate! i thought it was just going to be like 'omg i'm so ocd i like things organised' but it wasn't and i'm so glad. i can't stand people who used ocd to describe themselves – you don't have ocd and you joking that you do is so fuking disrespectful to people who actually have it. do you have any idea how bloody debilitating and disabling it is to live with? how miserable and anxious it can make you? no. it is a horrible disorder and to be honest if you don't have it you are super lucky.

  9. When i saw the title of this I was preemptively disappointed, thinking it would be the typical "I make my bed every morning I'm so OCD lol". I should have known better coming from Rachel Bloom.

  10. This cheered me up so much. Thank you for making this. I’ve been struggling with OCD pretty much my whole life and things like this make it seem less serious. So again, thank you. I love you, Rachel!

  11. The thing that I love about this video is that it more accurately depicts what it's like to really have OCD. Most people just think it means being very neat or a germaphobe. But it's rooted in anxiety and ruminating intrusive thoughts. I only have OCD tendencies, and it can be a living hell. While hilarious, this video gives people the truest idea of what OCD really is and how distressing it can be.

  12. i love this song but the problem is everything has to be divisible by 5 and left oriented so it fucking
    bothered me

  13. The video editing and zoom-ins really makes me feel the low-key anxiety that accompanies OCD 😭😂👌

The line at 1:04 😭 Despite knowing logically, all these compulsions won't change anything, you do it anyway to ease the nagging feeling it will lmao

  14. Literally my thought process just now: The dance is not symmetrical. Your muscles will only be excercised on one side and you’ll get injured.

  15. When I was little I had to count to four four times times before going to bed otherwise I thought my family was going to die. I have wasted a lot of time obsessing over whether I left the door unlocked or left the stove on. In high school I would have the same inappropriate and illogical thought over and over and over and over in my head. I never thought I might have OCD though, because I didn't care so much about organizing things and keeping things clean. Thanks Rachel Bloom for actually understanding OCD.

  16. While laughing bc this is exactly what it's like to have OCD, I couldn't help but twitch my head to the left. I have to start with my left foot, always.😂

  17. i was so worried this was gonna be a video about neatness and so fucking ecstatic when i realized how accurate it actually was

  18. Love this, but hate it at the same time because the numbers are not compatible with my OCD numbers and it drives me nuts. 😂

  19. OMG!!! I relate to this video on a whole other level!?!! Does this mean I have ocd, I do this stuff all the time and I had absolutely no idea that other people do this to, and I didn’t even know this was a part of ocd?

  20. I love you so much for showing the true sides of all the mental illness I go through that most people don't understand … This video made my day because this is me everyday!!! 😭😭😭😍😍😍🤣🤣🤣 I got my first HIV test when I was 14 because I thought I could get HIV from touching a doorknob and every day I'm suffering from fear of my thoughts … To anybody else watching this, isn't it great to finally see real representation of OCfuckingD in the mainstream courtesy of geniuses like Mizz Bloom?

  21. Everyone's talking about Dan, but is that Alex Lewis who worked for Buzzfeed in the blue shirt, and at 0:40

  22. This is so accurate, I love it so much. As someone who uses humour as a coping mechanism, this video helps a lot, helping me know I'm not alone in suffering with OCD, and that I'm not a freak for having these running through my head.

  23. The guy at 0:40 – he's on buzzfeed, right? He looks incredibly familiar. I think must be on some buzzfeed narrative videos. Does anyone else recognize him?

Cool to see he got involved in a Rachel project!

  24. You know, this song makes me questioning if I have OCD… I allways though these thoughts were kinda… normal? idk

  25. Wow. I totally thought this said "the OC Dance." The whole time I kept thinking, "is this the stereotype for people from Southern California? That's new to me!" 🤣

  26. I come back to this video a lot. Recontextualizing my OCD really helps, and I'm grateful that there's at least some accurate representation out there.

  27. Maybe it's just me but I like the slightly tense-alarmed look on people's faces when they spontaneously join the dance in the street: they aren't learning a hot new dance for fun they feel compelled to do the moves(cause otherwise bad things will happen). Such an accurate depiction of OCD and she knows so well what raw materials to combine for a work of comedy. I love this so much.

  28. As soon as she said touch the wall I was like is she gonna wash her hands cause she needs to wash her hands there could be anything on that thing

  29. Rachel Bloom will forever be on this infamous list of unfunny female comedians. Enjoy sitting on the throne of shame next to Amy Schumer, Kathy Griffin and Samantha Bee.

  30. Single most accurate depiction of OCD I've seen in the media (and darkly hilarious). Have shown this to people to try to communicate what it's like, i.e., nothing like what people without OCD think. Thank you for making this.

  31. As I listen to this song yet again, I realize today is the 22nd, and I think to myself, "I should have listened to this yesterday!!!" Slightly disappointed, until I remember I bought a box of Twinkies yesterday. So I am good.

  32. I loved this video I loved this video I loved this video I loved this video I loved this video I loved this video I loved this video
