Hello everyone! I’m Laura Martin. I’ve been a graphic designer for almost 10 years, working from Malaga. Photography is one of my favorite hobbies, I like making montages with different images of nature and playing with light, texture and color. As a graphic designer I’ve worked on corporate imaging, packaging and I’ve also designed various labels. I’ve been with Freepik for almost three years, creating vector image resources and also tutorials. During this time I have designed many realistic style elements with Illustrator, primarily using the gradient mesh. Today, I’m going to show you how to make a postcard with a realistic flower pattern, using the gradient mesh and different color editing techniques. We’ll be using various tools such as the Pen tool, the Pencil tool, the Swatch palette, the Pathfinder tool and of course, the Gradient Mesh, to create the flowers. So let’s begin! And I hope you enjoy this tutorial as much as I do!
