Fabric Ruffle Flower Tutorial

Hello, this is Risa from Anjurisa Welcome to my channel! In this video, I’m going to show you how to make this beautiful, pretty, yet so easy to make flower If this is your first time to my channel, please hit the SUBSCRIBE button It motivates me to keep making videos I use crepe fabric for this flower I like the texture of this fabric To make this flower, we need to cut the fabric with soldering iron into scallops shape like this If you haven’t watched my tutorial about cutting fabric with soldering iron, please see the description below I even show how to make our own template The size is about 1/2″ for the width of each scallop and 1″ for the height Cut the fabric about 2″ Now let’s cut the fabric with soldering iron We heat up the soldering iron and start cutting with our template like this I use the width of the fabric Any fabric width is okay from 45″-60″ Be careful because it’s really really hot When you cut, not too slow and not too fast You can see the perfect shape here Cut this until the end of our fabric and I will do this in fast motion While I do this, I will tell a bit about soldering iron I searched all my templates from Google You can find this template with the keyword: “Scallop Template” What I love about soldering iron is it cuts and seals fabric at the same time You can use any fabric like satin, chiffon, organza, tulle, and many others But unfortunately it doesn’t work on cotton fabric Another reason why I love soldering iron is with this soldering iron, we can cut any shape and any size from very tiny shape to big shape Crepe fabric is a little difficult to cut compared to chiffon, organza, and tulle fabric Now we have done the cutting You can see the perfect shape here and to gather the fabric, prepare needle and thread but to make it quick and fast, I will use sewing machine Now gather the fabric To arrange the flower, add a dab of glue and use tweezers to twist this Roll the fabric like this until the end Adjust a little Our beautiful and pretty flower is done Thanks for watching If you like this tutorial, please like, comment, share, and SUBSCRIBE!
